Here are the symptoms for the different episodes that you can have. Depressive episode symptoms will be characterized by feelings of worthlessness, sadness or hopelessness. The symptoms can include sadness, lots of crying for no reason, loss of pleasure, sleep is abnormal, energy is very low, restlessness, concentrating becomes difficult, irritability, overeating or not eating because of loss of appetite, feeling worthless or hopeless and having thoughts of suicide or death. Manic episode symptoms will come with periods of elated moods, which may include thoughts that are racing in your head, extreme irritability or behavior that is reckless. The symptoms for this can include inappropriate sense of euphoria or elation, talking too much and having racing thoughts, extreme irritability, reckless behavior, sleep is abnormal, too much energy, your spending becomes out of control, difficulty concentrating, increased activity that is not normal for you including sexual activity, judgment is poor and your behavior is aggressive. If you notice that you are experiencing any of these symptoms of Bipolar disorder then you need to seek help now. This illness will not just go away and it will get worse if it is left untreated. Diagnosing Bipolar is not hard to do for doctors but you don’t want to try and deal with this problem on your own.
